The Organist

Ágnes Zászkaliczky was born on 20 May 1980 in Budapest. She started playing the piano at the age of six at the Tihamér Vujicsics Music School of Szentendre.

From 1994 to 1998 she was the student of Béla Bartók Secondary Music School in Budapest, her major was organ and studied under Lilla Szathmáry.

In 1998 she got admission to Mozarteum in Salzburg where she studied in the master class of Daniel Chorzempa for six years.

She graduated in 2004 as Master of Arts in organ. In the year of 2006, she became the artistic director of the International Organ Festivals in Oradea (Nagyvárad, Rumania).

In 2007 she released her first album in which she performs works for organ and cello with cellist, Tibor Bogányi.

In many European churches and concert halls she regularly gives solo as well as chamber concerts.
